Helen Melon offers sellers true international exposure for their properties

Category What's Happening at Helen Melon

We find ourselves in unchartered territories and are daily  bombarded with uplifting emails with messages of hope and optimism over the coronavirus crisis.

I felt that it is a perfect  time for me to communicate with our clients and briefly let you know how Helen Melon has dealt with the crisis.

Prior to the lockdown it became clear that we could not operate on a 'business as usual basis' and initially we had to make some quick decisions as to how we would continue operating and working for our clients.  To be honest in the beginning we floundered a bit as we did not realise the magnitude of what was coming.

Initially we purchased hand sanitisers for all our staff members, discouraged buyers from bringing children to viewings, encouraged buyers to keep a safe distance  during viewings and to use sanitisers that we provided.

As soon as it became obvious that we were going into lockdown we ensured that all our staff were able to work from home, were provided with computers, ensured that they had access to the internet, and software was installed to enable seamless video meetings.  Staff meetings are held twice a week and staff communicate daily with one another.  With all staff members working from home we do have a system in place however it is not perfect.

We continue to do our work, discuss new marketing opportunities, update our systems and look at new business opportunities. This could not be done without the amazing members of staff at Helen Melon who are hardworking, dedicated, innovative and willing to go the extra mile for our clients.

During this period, we have reached an agreement with Knight Frank that all our clients who have mandated their properties with Helen Melon have the opportunity for their properties to be advertised on the Knight Frank Website.  For sellers who are looking for an international platform on which to showcase their property Helen Melon in conjunction with Frank Knight ensure that our clients are provided with the best possible international exposure.

Knight Frank, founded in 1896, has a global network encompassing 418 offices in 60 countries and handling more than US$817 billion worth of commercial, agricultural and residential real estate annually.  It is the world's leading privately-owned global property agency and consultancy.  The Knight Frank annual Wealth Report remains one of the most well-respected property publications encompassing global investment trends and property related research papers.  We are delight that property mogul Gail Gavrill will be working in association with Helen Melon and representing Knight Frank in the Garden Route.

Helen Melon continues to grow.  Lee Caldecott has joined our team as a business broker.  Lee has many years' experience in this field with an in-depth knowledge of buying and selling franchises so if you are looking at buying or selling a business in the garden route please contact Helen Melon.

So, while we have temporarily moved our offices to our homes we have not lost our focus from continually striving to provide our buyers and sellers with the best possible service.

Keep safe, stay safe and let's work together to make a difference in your lives.
