2020 has been a challenging year for all of us, in a variety of ways and, while we are disappointed that our beaches are unable to open this summer, we're so happy to announce that Plettenberg Bay is open for so much more... Here's what you need to know...

WHAT'S OPEN?

  • Nature reserves: CapeNature reserves 044 533 2125 (Robberg and Keurbooms River) for all usual activities 
  • SANParks National Parks 044 531 6700 (Garden Route National Park: Tsitsikamma, Harkerville, Storms River, Nature's Valley) for all usual activities
  • Watersports: scuba diving (Pro Dive), swimming with seals (Offshore Adventures), marine safaris (Ocean Blue Adventures and Ocean Safaris), Kayak & Lilo Adventure (Untouched Adventures), River cruises (Keurbooms River Ferries), Frendz Fishing Charters, Dolphin Adventures sea kayaking.
  • Water parks: Adventureland, Wild Waters Fun Park
  • Kayaking / paddling / canoeing:  Standup paddling (lagoon & river), Ocean kayaking (Dolphin Adventures), Kayaking (river & lagoon) - Plett Kayaks, Bitou Kayaks, and SUPing Keurbooms
  • Fishing with a permit or fishing licenses (boat and shore-based): Coastal and river launch sites are open.
