Identifying the need for true international exposure for Plettenberg Bay's top end properties, Helen Melon Properties are proud to announce that as from 1st December 2018 they will be working in close collaboration with Knight Frank and property mogul Gail Gavrill.

Founded in 1896 Knight Frank has a global network encompassing 418 offices in 60 countries and handling more than US$817 billion worth of sales annually. It is the world's leading privately-owned global property agency and consultancy and its annual Wealth Report remains one of the most well-respected property publications encompassing global investment trends and property related research papers.

Gail's Gavrill's introduction to the property industry was with Southern Sun's Time - Share division in Durban and the Beacon Island Hotel in Plettenberg Bay where for seven years she was consistently among their top achievers.

A natural progression was then moving into the main stream property industry which she did, joining the late Timmy Hutchinson at Pick of Plett.

Cape Town beckoned, and it was here that her exceptional property career really took off - first as head of Atlantic Coastline Project sales with the Seeff Group and twelve years later in the same capacity with Pam Golding Properties. Projects successfully launched and sold during this time included some of the most expensive and prestigious developments in the suburbs of Clifton, Bantry Bay and Fresnaye.

Towards the end of 2005 she was offered the opportunity to relocate to the Seychelles to set up the sales function of the massively successful Eden Island Project where over a period of four years, she concluded sales to HNW clients from all over the world - often telephonically and sight unseen. The experience gained during this period was invaluable.

Last year Gail received an offer for her Clifton apartment she "could not refuse" and having to quickly decide where to relocate to, Plettenberg Bay became the "obvious choice" - (not before concluding an R 80 m apartment sale on the beach in Clifton!)

Over the past year, Gail she has been interacting with Richard Hardy, the CEO of Knight Frank, marketing top end properties and developments along the Atlantic Sea Board which led to her being offered the opportunity to represent the Knight Frank brand along the Garden Route. Rather than aiming for "chart topping" market share and masses of listings, all that is envisaged with the new venture is providing a true one on one personal service to a handful of sellers of more expensive properties along the Garden Route.

Gail will be making use of her vast personal data base and that of Knight Frank's international network to promote local properties She will also be working in close collaboration with Helen Melon Properties in Plettenberg Bay. Gail can be contacted on 082 777 6000.
